Fire protection and fire safety systems

At DIGITAL ID, we pride ourselves on offering the most advanced solutions to protect your business against fires. We are partners with the largest manufacturers of fire detection systems to NF and EN standards, such as Tyco from Johnson Controls, Esser from Honeywell, Nugelec from Eaton, and UTC.

Through our partnership with these industry leaders, we are able to provide top quality fire detection solutions that keep your business safe.

Fire detection system to NF and EN standards

NF and EN standards guarantee that the products we offer comply with the highest quality standards in terms of fire safety. These standards apply to fire detection systems. By working with the most trusted manufacturers of fire detection systems, we are able to provide our customers with exceptional fire safety solutions.

Through our partnership with Johnson Controls, Honeywell and Eaton, we offer a full range of sensing solutions for large, small and medium businesses and a variety of industries. These partners provide advanced fire detection systems, equipped with state-of-the-art technologies, enabling early detection of fires, rapid notification of fire departments to limit the spread of fires. Their products are also easy to install, easy to use, reliable and cost effective.

There are several types of detectors used in fire detection, including:

  • Smoke Detectors: These detect the presence of smoke in the air and can be either optical (using a light source to detect smoke particles).
  • Heat Detectors: These measure temperature changes in the environment and are particularly useful for detecting slow burning fires and fires that develop in areas where smoke is normally present.
  • Flame Detectors: These use infrared sensors to detect the presence of flames, which can be especially useful in environments with heavy smoke or where fires are difficult to detect.
  • Carbon Monoxide Detectors: They measure the presence of carbon monoxide, an odorless, colorless gas produced by the incomplete combustion of fossil fuels, and are particularly useful for detecting slow burning fires that can produce large amounts of carbon monoxide.
  • Gas Detectors: They can be used to detect flammable or toxic gases that may be present in the environment in the event of a fire.
  • Aspiring smoke detectors continuously take air samples from areas to be protected and analyze them for the presence of smoke. They provide reliable detection in demanding application areas, where the earliest possible fire detection is essential and where business continuity is paramount.
  • ATEX Detectors Intrinsically safe detectors are conventional, sealed automatic detectors that use Optical or Thermal technology to detect the start of a fire. These products are ideal for detection in landfills, warehouses or in the oil, gas, chemical and pharmaceutical industries.

It should be noted that these different types of detectors can be used in combination to provide more reliable and faster detection of fires.
